OK, I sat down with this tonight and tried to figure out the cryptogram. I figured the flag sign had to be either an A or an I because it was by itself. That helped me to crack it.
"do you want to know a secret? The headquarters for the Order of the Phoenix is at no. 12 Grimmauld place."
I was thrown off at first because I thought there was only one cross sign. But actually there are two, one for H and another, with a darker, thicker line on one side, for E.

I had the same problem with the cross symbols! I was entering H's and thinking, "Wow, there are a lot of H's in this puzzle!" Then I realized what was happening...
